I had a partial tongue resection and node removal following cancer diagnosis. I had severe swelling under my chin and throat and had a feeding peg in my stomach.I have had several sessions and the difference is remarkable as my swelling has gone completely and am no longer on the feeding peg - he used MLD and kinesiotape to redirect the lymph flow and also treated my scarring with low level laser which had been blocking the lymph flow and which is now much better. Very pleased !
From Isabel December 2021. I have had very severe leg oedema for 6 years and unable to walk properly and had been given ill fitting compression stockings. In only a few treatments it reduced the size of my worst leg to almost normal and the fitted me for new compression garments to maintain the reduced size. I am so pleased and can walk normally.

I had had a mastectomy with node removal and had been fitted with a compression sleeve but still had swelling. I then had treatments at Rumbolds and the therapist used MLD and Kinesiotape to redirect the lymph flow away from my armpit direct to my subclavian vein. I have now thrown away my sleeve as I do not need it as the swelling in my arm has not returned over the last 8 months

I had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my cheek following which I had a large swelling above the scar line. The therapist used laser therapy to reduce the scarring which was blocking the lymph flow from under my eye and also used MLD and kinesiotape to redirect the lymph flow laterally direct to the nodes in my neck. The swelling has completely disappeared

I had a large swelling on the back of my neck just above a scar line from the removal of a lipoma. The therapist used laser therapy on the scar and also MLD and kinesiotape on the swelling to redirect the lymph flow around the scar. He said the lymph flow originates as cerebro spinal fluid from the brain and exits to the spinal meninges. There is now no swelling avoiding the need to aspirate. My GP and the surgeon is pleased with the result.

I had an operation to remove a cancerous tonsil in April last year and had chemo and radiotherapy. I since developed a large selling under my chin. In just a few treatments it has managed to reduce the swelling to almost nothing. Also amazingly it cured my tinnitus which I have had since a fractured skull in 2007! I now have hardly a murmur but used to have a high pitched shrill noise

Following CA of the throat requiring RT and CT I have had a large swelling under my chin which has meant I have continued to have to feed through a peg in my stomach. The treatment has managed to reduce the swelling so that I can now swallow more easily certain foods. My recent PET scan has also confirmed me as cancer free now. Very pleased

Following lymph node removal in my lower abdomen and groin after cervical CA 5 year ago I have had Stage 2 oedema of both legs. Rumbolds has been treating me each week for the last four months, redirecting the lymph flow from my legs to create a permanent pathway to my nodes in my armpit. The oedema has gone from both legs although I get an occasional swelling in the armpits but now going on 5 k runs! Very pleased with the result

I had swelling in both legs following removal of nodes in my groin. I have been very pleased with the treatment. I was also measured for compression tights as a precaution but I have now not had to wear them due to his treatments creating a new pathway to healthy nodes.

When I first came to Rumbolds I had deafness in both ears, sinus blockage, and a very bloated abdomen causing pain following surgery. I have had severe headaches and throat/ear infections for several years. The therapist, after prior contact with my hospital consultant, relieved an abdominal lymph blockage over several sessions ( I always felt a whoosh when the lymph started to flow when unblocked). It was a very gentle technique. He at the same time worked on unblocking the lymph flow around my face and ears with the result that my hearing was fully restored. He also treated the cranial lymph blockage at the rear of my skull which resulted in the same whoosh of lymph flow and a release of an old infection going back 15 years (which I think had caused the constant headaches) which, after a weekly MLD treatment over 6 weeks, was healed through the now properly functioning lymph system. I no longer have sinus or hearing issues and no more headaches and feel a well woman again for the first time in years! Heather

I came to Rumbolds having had severe headaches and pressure behind the eyes for the last ten years after I contracted Lymes disease with related Meningitis. The therapist carried out MLD to my face/ neck and head and found a cranial lymph blockage which he relieved following which my headaches have gone down from a pain level of 8 to 2 and my eyesight seems to be better with less pressure behind the eyes. I am very pleased.

I am very happy and satisfied with the Manual Lymphatic Drainage treatments I received at the Rumbolds Lymph Clinic.
I had had a prior operation which resulted in lymphoedema and swelling in my right leg. I was wearing an ill fitting compression stocking
I had five treatments during the course of a week and by the end of the week the lymph volume in my leg had been reduced by 38%. Since I have no inguinal nodes he worked on creating a new pathway for the lymph to other healthy nodes for a more lasting solution to my lymphoedema. This meant I have needed to wear the stocking much less. I also was given valuable expert advice and measurement in getting the correct support garments for my leg.
I stayed on site at Rumbolds in a very comfortable self contained cottage with my husband.
