The Highdown Rodders Fly Fishing Club was founded in 1983 by a group of anglers who met to learn how to tie flies at evening classes held at the Highdown School in Reading. Since then it has grown and membership now stands at about 30.
We are always ready to welcome new members. Not only experienced anglers but also those who are new to the sport and wish to develop their fishing and fly tying skills.
The Club arranges fishing trips throughout the summer and winter months.
We also meet up for social events.
All disciplines of fly fishing are catered for in the Club; lake and river trout fishing predominently but also salmon, sea trout, pike, bone fishing, steelhead fishing and bass fishing.
Full Membership Fee £20 per annum plus £10 joining fee
