| We are a small family business growing fruit at Foxendown Farm in the village of Meopham, Kent. Meopham lies in the North Downs, between Gravesend to the north and Wrotham to the south, approx 12 miles south east of the Dartford Crossing. Click here for map of Meopham or on the postcode at the foot of the page for an interactive version.
At Foxendown Farm we grow a range of fruit including rhubarb, thornless gooseberries, black, red and white currants, thornless loganberries and blackberries, plums, apples and pears, and quinces. We also grow some vegetables including runner beans, marrows, courgettes and butternut squash. Click here for seasons.
We can pick all crops to order and some are available as Pick Your Own. We also supply retailers.
UPDATE 29th September 2019
Apples: The dessert apples we currently have available are Cox, Crown Gold, Falstaff, Greensleeves, Kent, Red Pippin, Spartan and Suntan - as well as some Blenheim Orange, Canada Reinette, Ellison's Orange and Sunset. We also have Bramley cooking apples. Cox, Falstaff, Spartan and Sunset are also available as PYO.
We still have some Triumph of Vienne in store and plenty of Conference. The Comice will be picked in the next few days.
The 'pick your own' season for soft fruit has finished - but from time to time we may have a few autumn raspberries. The plums have finished.
Plenty of nice runner beans, ready picked, are still available. The peak of the season for marrows and courgettes has passed but we are still picking a few.
We are generally open 9:00 till 5:00 (or till dark, if sooner), seven days a week. If you ring 01474 813165 for more information, a good time to try is around 11:00. Or try 01474 815080.
Broomfield Farm is now rented to David Brown who continues to grow a range of fruit especially for Pick Your Own. For information about pick your own fruit availability and opening times at Broomfield Farm:
