We were formed in 1951 to promote the pleasures of angling and to access as many waters as practical for our members. We at present have 17 lakes on our books some of which we share usage but the majority we have exclusive access. We also have about 15 miles of the Dorset Stour, 1 mile of the Hampshire Avon and a mile of Trout Carrier Stream adjacent to the Avon. We have waters to suit a whole range of angler's, be they pleasure, match, specimen or game.

Our rivers have produced Barbel to near 17lbs, Chub to over 8lbs, Roach over 3lbs, Perch to near 4lbs and Brown Trout to over 7lbs, the list goes on. As for our coarse lakes they boast Tench to near 8lbs, Carp to 34lbs, Crucians to 2lb+. Our Trout lakes have shown double figure fish most years, the largest this year was a Brown Trout of 10lbs 5oz which was released safely after capture.

THIS SEASON PROMISES TO BE A GREAT SEASON FOR BIG CHUB WITH 11 6LB+ FISH BEING CAUGHT IN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS. THE BEST TO MY KNOWLEDGE BEING 7LB 3OZ AND THIS WAS NOWHERE NEAR THE BIGGEST IN THE SWIM AT THE TIME. GET OUT ON THE RIVER AND GIVE IT A GO, I'M SURE THERE'S A RECORD OUT THERE WAITING TO BE CAUGHT.
