West Sussex Decorative and Fine Arts Society (WSDFAS) was founded in 1969 and became the twentieth member society of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies(NADFAS).
We provide our members with an excellent programme of illustrated lectures, arrange visits to galleries, museums, country houses and other places of cultural interest, organise study days and arrange an annual holiday either in England or abroad.
Meetings are held in Fittleworth Village Hall on the first Tuesday of each month at 2.15pm.
Fittleworth is a convenient distance from Petworth, Pulborough, Arundel, Midhurst, Billingshurst and Chichester. There is ample parking at the Hall and visitors are welcome.
We have a library of some 500 books on all aspects of Fine Arts. These are kept at Fittleworth Village Hall and are available on loan free to members.
A group of volunteers from the Society help at Petworth House putting the house to bed and taking care of the "batterie de cuisine".
