Chiropractic is a regulated health care profession that specialises in the treatment of the spine and related disorders.

The spine is the structure that houses the spinal cord. The spinal cord delivers the messages from your brain to your body and thereby controls much of the body's functions. If the spine is not working properly, the function of the nervous system and general health can be affected.

Problems with the mechanics of the spine can therefore be responsible for a wide variety of conditions. Chiropractors are trained specifically to treat these conditions.
