The Mortimer Society is a registered charity in Kent that has been providing residential care for adults with disabilities from all over the country for more than twenty years.
The Society has two residential homes, Birling House in Snodland and Frindsbury House in Rochester.
We specialise in providing care for people with Huntington’s Disease, acquired brain injuries, Parkinson’s Disease and learning disabilities.
We create friendly, relaxing and supportive environments, which enable our residents to maintain their physical and mental health.
We assist those in our care to exercise choice, maximise their independence, develop interests and skills whilst feeling safe and cared for by people they know and trust.
We regard each person with physical or learning disabilities as unique and tailor our services to his or her needs. Our main concern is good quality of life and we aim to provide a homelike environment, which respects independence and encourages individuality and personal growth.
