The Jolly Drayman is run by Kate and Charlie and serves a good selection of hand pumped real ales along with a large selection of other beers. The Jolly Drayman has come 2nd in the CAMRA Local Pub of the Year awards 10/11 and came in the top three in CAMRA Local Pub of the Year Awards 09/10. We have also had a recent visit from Pub Spy and received a score of 5 out 5. "Pub time travelling at its best. A warm, friendly treat".

The local branch of CAMRA (Gravesend and Darent Valley) was originally formed in the Jolly Drayman in 1971 and has been a regular haunt ever since.

The bar is a traditional oak beamed 'country' style bar with plenty of seating and bar space. "Beware" mind your heads, there are very low beams inside.

There is a large decked garden area with plenty of seating and BBQ for the summer months. Please see picture below.
