ARRANGING A VISIT

We strongly recommend that a prospective resident visits the Home with a relative, friend or advocate. Ideally the person will visit the home for either a morning or a full day and may even choose to stay overnight so that they are more equipped to make a judgement about whether they would be happy to entrust us with their long term care.

Prospective residents are encouraged to talk privately to some of the people using our service to find out their views about the home.

To arrange a visit to Birling House or Frindsbury House please contact:

Nearly all of our residents are supported financially by their local council or a Primary Care Trust. Once the prospective resident and their family and friends have made their choice of a particular home then the care manager from the local authority will normally discuss the finances with their commissioners.
