Frindsbury House provides care for people with a range of physical disabilities including Huntington's disease and we also cater for people with learning disabilities. It is a large detached house in its own grounds near the village of Wainscott, Rochester in Kent.
The house is oringinally Edwardian and has been adapted and extended to a high standard. It has well maintained bedrooms both on the ground and first floor many of which offer ensuite facilities. A lift provides access to all rooms for those with limited mobility. There are three large lounges overlooking the gardens and a comfortable dining area.
The house is set in extensive well established grounds, which include mature trees a pond and flower gardens. There are two purpose built activity and craft rooms which are separate from the main house, where residents may choose to get involved in art and craft, computing, games and social events. There is a residents’ kitchen which is used for the provision of supported independent living skills. The home has a minibus with wheelchair access and a car for resident outings.
