The Highdown Rodders Fly Fishing Club was founded in 1983 by a group of anglers who met to learn how to tie flies at evening classes held at the Highdown School in Reading. Since then it has grown and membership now stands at about 29.

We are always ready to welcome new members. Not only experienced anglers but also those who are new to the sport and wish to develop their fishing skills.

The Club meets regularly during both the summer and winter months to fish and tie flies.
We also meet up each month for a social get together.

All disciplines of fly fishing are catered for in the Club; lake and river trout fishing predominently but also salmon, sea trout, pike, bone fishing, steelhead fishing and bass fishing.

Full Membership Fee 20 per annum plus 10
joining fee
