Welcome to Den Farm Oast Barn, a self catering holiday cottage set in the heart of Kent. We are in a very peaceful rural location but within twenty minutes of the major towns of Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and the county town of Maidstone.

There are many famous homes, castles and gardens to visit – all within a short drive – or you can just relax in our large gardens or go for walks. Being fairly flat around here it is also great cycling country. On the kitchen wall is a large Ordinance Survey map to help point you in some interesting directions!

The picturesque village of Yalding is 2 miles down the road and boasts a mini-market, Post Office, library and restaurant and our nearest pub is just one mile away and serves excellent food and beer.

The barn itself is spacious and well equipped with a large bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. The bedroom has an en-suite WC and basin and there is a separate newly refurbished bathroom including a bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, electric hob and double oven, washing machine etc.

There is gas central heating throughout for colder days when the sun doesn’t shine long enough to warm the place, despite the south facing position of the barn.

All linen, including towels, is provided. Small jars of homemade preserves will be awaiting you in the kitchen along with fresh eggs (subject to the hens doing their duty!). There is a large range of fruit and vegetables in the garden, depending on the seasons, and guests are invited to help themselves.

There is ample parking space.

French is spoken.

A cot and high chair are available on request.

No smoking.
