"Fantastically Useful." H. Millard, St. Edmund's Kent. Workshops now running in Kent. For Music Coordinators and anyone teaching year 2 or 3. The Music Puppet Programme is a unique series of games and activities that have been developed in primary classrooms and shown to dramatically improve children's musical skills. It can be used by both music specialists and non-specialists, and is designed to compliment your existing provision for music. This one-day workshop demonstrates how children acquire musical skills and will show you how, with the help of just four puppets, you can begin to train children's ears, eyes, voices, musical memory, intellect and physical coordination; enabling them to enjoy greater success in any musical activity. The next workshop will be in Canterbury, Kent on October 6th 2009. Fee £125 (Lunch, comprehensive notes, printed music and a CD of additional songs are included.)
